Special Collections contains several materials about Maryland military genealogy, specifically enlistment rolls, lists of military pensioners, and historical accounts of individual military units. Although Special Collections has few materials about Marylanders' participation in 20th century military activities, it has a significant number of military genealogical sources from historical conflicts such as the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, and the Civil War.
