Databases for the Arts in Database Finder

A database is a retrieval tool and organization system for collections of records and documents.  The UM Libraries' Research Port provides access to many databases that index the contents of journal articles.  Databases may provide full-text access, or may point to print materials available in the library's physical collection; the Find It link will give you a list of options for locating the text of an article.  The following databases provide access to the contents of arts-related journals.

Subject-Specific Databases in Database Finder

The following databases include art information among many other types of resources.  Each database has a primary thematic, geographic, or temporal scope.
