This guide provides a listing of materials avilable in the Maryland Room relating to the ancient city of Pompeii. The intention of this guide is to lead researchers down a path that they might other wise not have found, and to highlight some of the items that the Maryland Room has related to Pompeii.
It is important to note that the Maryland Room is not the only place to find resources on Pompeii and related subject matter! Other libraries that have a large amount of books on Pompeii include the McKeldin Library, the Art Library, and the Architecture Library.

Italian, and German). Books are then organized by the century of publication.

How to Search the Catalog
Use the Catalog to search for items owned by the UM Libraries.
Check the box for "USMAI (All Campuses)" in order to search the entire UM System at once.
You may search for a topic using word/s anywhere or subject word/s.
