Founded in 1837, The Baltimore Sun is the largest daily newspaper in the state of Maryland. It covers local, regional, national, and international news, including topics like sports, entertainment, health and fitness, technology, and more.
Over the course of its history, The Baltimore Sun has had several editions and gone by various names. Between 1910 and 1995, there were two distinct editions of the newspaper, which maintained separate reporting and editorial staff: The Sun, published in the morning, and The Evening Sun, published in the afternoon. In 2008, the paper rebranded as The Baltimore Sun, officially enshrining its home city in its name.
Different date ranges of this newspaper are available in different formats at the University of Maryland Libraries.
