Founded in 1889, the Wall Street Journal, referred to as WSJ or as the Journal, is a newspaper based in New York City. Published six days a week, the Journal provides extensive news coverage, focusing on business and finance. 

The WSJ publishes several regional editions in the United States: National, Eastern, Western, and Central. It also offers an international edition (formally separate "Europe" and "Asia" editions).
