How and when to cite sources.

Overview

There are lots of citation styles. The ones you will run into most frequently are:

  • MLA (humanities)
  • Chicago/Turabian (humanities, in particular music)
  • Bluebook (law) 
  • APA (social sciences)
  • ACS (hard sciences)
