Maryland Law Resources

A guide to basic Maryland legal resources available online and in McKeldin and Hornbake Libraries.

Overview

The Maryland House Journal and the Maryland Senate Journal are records of the proceedings of the Maryland House of Delegates and the Maryland Senate sessions. They include synopses of all bills introduced, the committee to which each bill is referred, subsequent amendments, and roll call votes on bills. The Journals DO NOT included transcripts or synopses of floor debates or committee hearings.
