Usage Restrictions

Please note that UMD's Nexis Uni services are for individual, personal academic use only. Our license prohibits "accessing or using the online services via mechanical, programmatic, robotic, scripted or any other automated means" (e.g., APIs, etc.). Neither the online services nor the materials may be collected via automated or robotic methods, or used in conjunction with a generative artificial intelligence (AI) solution. Please review full terms & conditions. Violation of these restrictions may result in UMD losing access to the platform entirely.

Request API/Data Mining Access for Individual Projects

If your research project requires data mining or other automated methods of data analysis, you can work with Lexis Nexis directly to purchase access to the data you need, along with APIs (or permission to use your own developer tools and programs). Email LexisNexis representative Ginger Cole at ginger.cole@lexisnexis.com for more information and a price quote.
