JOUR 328G: Enterprise Sports Reporting

The Baltimore Sun is the easiest local paper for beginning your search. Because it's a more major newspaper that's still published today, you can search it online with library databases.

1. Head to the Baltimore Sun ProQuest Historic Newspapers database.
2. Click Advanced Search at the top of the page.
3. Enter your keywords in the different boxes, grouping related keywords together. Click Add a Row if needed.
   
4. Within each box, separate individual words/phrases with OR.
5. Add quotation marks around specific phrases, like "Camden Yards"
6. Hit Search and explore your results.
7. Use the filters on the left side to narrow down to more relevant results.
