Ghost Citations Worksheet
Did you know Chat GPT can generate (or "hallucinate") citations for sources that do not exist? This worksheet teaches students how to interrogate a citation from Chat GPT and how they can use a false citation to generate ideas for their research.

Artificial Intelligence - Online Module
This module (created in collaboration between the UMD Libraries and UMD TLTC) helps students to navigate the rapidly changing world of AI and to gain important critical thinking tools around generative AI.
Generative AI Disclosure & Reflection (Survey for Canvas)
This short reflection activity helps students think critically and transparently about their use of generative AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude) in completing academic work. The quiz invites students to describe how they used AI, reflect on what was helpful or unhelpful, and explain how they revised or built upon AI-generated content to make the final product their own. Instructors are welcome to adapt the language, examples, or response length to fit their course, discipline, or assignment type.
