McKeldin Library Scavenger Hunt
If you want to include the library in your course instruction but do not have a specific assignment, this 15-question scavenger hunt is a great way to incorporate the library. All questions can be answered using the UMD Libraries' website, so the worksheet can easily be assigned as homework.

Ph.D. Zine - A Guide for a Doc Terp's Family and Friends
Although this Zine was designed as a handout to share with attendees at a doctoral defense, it is a useful guide to share with family and friends at any point during a Ph.D. program. Print settings: Print one-sided, then fold each page in half (lengthwise) and half again (lengthwise). Then, nest the pages together to make your Zine. Follow the page numbers.
