Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA) Committee

The IDEA Committee advances the mission of the University of Maryland Libraries by providing leadership, lending support, and serving as a resource within the Libraries' community and beyond in the areas of inclusion, diversity, equity, and access.


Diversity Immersion Institute

The Diversity Immersion Institute (DII) serves as the cornerstone for diversity, inclusion, and social justice work at the University of Maryland (UMD) Libraries. The (DII) provides graduate students from the College of Information Studies at the University of Maryland (UMD), the opportunity to explore social justice, diversity, and inclusion, specifically regarding the Library and Information Science.
