I am the liaison librarian for faculty, staff, and students in Journalism and Communication. My approach centers critical librarianship and information literacies. My current research interests include open and new models of scholarly communications, media format preferences, and user experience (UX) design. Beyond UMD, I am a consultant with The Pedagogy Lab. I have a Master's in Library & Information Science (MLIS) from St. Catherine University and a B.A. in Sociology/Anthropology and Spanish & Hispanic Studies from Earlham College.
