From the Library page, it's easy to select your favorite artist from the dropdown menus to view a list of all available articles about them. You can also use the dropdown menus to quickly gather all articles on a particular subject or genre, or all articles from a particular writer or publisher. See the Links box above this box to view A-Z lists of these categories.
Once you've clicked on a link to open an article, it's easy to find related content using the links at the bottom of the text.
In the example below, you can see that multiple bands have been tagged in this article, so the complete list of Oasis articles is only a click away. This can be helpful when you want to get familiar with a topic or explore what else RBP has available.
RBP contains more than 400 audio files of interviews with people in popular music, including Tom Waits, Yoko Ono, David Bowie, Joni Mitchell, and Kurt Cobain.
The metadata for each interview includes the artist name, date of recording, interviewer name, publisher, and a one-sentence description of the content.
Given that many of these interviews were originally conducted on portable cassette recorders, the sound quality is variable. The librarians of RBP have evaluated the quality of each recording and assigned a number of stars, ranging from 1 star ("grotty") to 5 stars ("broadcast"). Most recordings have at least 3 stars ("average"). The audio files are 128kbps MP3s that can be streamed or downloaded.
