UMD Libraries has a variety of pages with information on data sharing for researchers on our main Libraries website, including information on Data as Scholarly Communication and help understanding What to Consider in a Repository.
In addition to the UMD institutional repository, DRUM (Digital Repository at the University of Maryland), the Libraries are members of several community-owned open repositories.
