The Manuscripts sub-group consists primarily of a collection of over 4,000 research papers from the 1920s to 2000s on music education, many of which were presented at national and regional NAfME conventions but never published.
The collection is kept in closed stacks, however, SCPA maintains an internal database which can easily be searched.
RG 25-5 contains five book collections devoted to music education. All are available for use in the Lowens Reading Room.
SCPA also maintains electronic inventories for each of these book collections if there is something specific you are searching for.
