Humanities Ebook Collections

This guide gives information about how to access the Libraries ebook collections.

Project Muse Ebooks

The Libraries were able to purchase the 2010, 2011, 2012 Project Muse Ebook collections and we continue to purchase individual titles.  We have purchased approximately 5,200 titles.  In addition, there are over 3,800 open access titles available.  Project Muse includes a lot of journal content.  If you prefer, once in Project Muse you can restrict your results to books and to titles to which the Libraries has access.  See the example below.  Items with a green check mark are titles the Libraries have purchased, those with an OA icon indicate open access content.

All Project Muse titles allow for unlimited simultaneous users and DRM free.

Due to COVID-19, nearly 100 publishers have allowed their content to be made freely available on Project Muse, indicated by a Free icon.  Access is slated to end June 30th.
