HIST 208T: Can a Movie be "Accurate"? American Films as Historical Sources (Jane Polcen)

Introduction

The purpose of this guide is to help students in HIST 208P locate and access secondary and primary sources, both online and print.

Most of the resources included in this guide are subscription resources which the UMD Libraries purchase.  Current students, faculty, and staff have access to them after logging in with directory ID and password.  Some resources included here are made freely available by libraries and educational institutions.

If you have questions about access or are having trouble finding something, contact Eric N. Lindquist, UMD history librarian.  You can schedule a consultation here.
