Background

Kelsey completed her undergraduate studies in Romance Languages and Literature at Harvard University, graduating in 2005.  During her time there, she worked in Collection Management at the Harvard University Law Library, and also undertook 2 library internships during summers.  After college, she veered away from both literature and libraries, and spent 5 years as a translation project manager, first at the State Department and later at a private translation company.

Kelsey will graduate from the MLS program here at the University of Maryland in May 2012.  In her work with the Humanities Team, she focuses on the Departments of French and Italian and Germanic Studies, as well as emerging library technologies.
