About Alan Mattlage

Alan Mattlage earned a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Illinois in Urbana.  He taught Philosophy at The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, St. Cloud State University, and Iowa State University.  His area of specialization is Political Philosophy, with areas of compentence in Moral Theory and the Philosophy of Law.  He also earned an M.L.S. from the University of Maryland where he has worked since 1999.  He regularly posts book reviews at mattlage.blogspot.com and writes for the blog Library Juice.
