"Psychology in the News Project"

This tutorial is designed to help you with the "Current Issues" Paper.  It requires that you know how to search library databases to find a relevant curent article from the popular press and also to find related articles in scholarly journals.  This guide will:

    • 1.  Explain BASIC SEARCH TECHNIQUES that you can use when you are searching databases.

    • 2.  Provide an overview about how to FIND JOURNAL OR NEWSPAPER ARTICLES

    • 3.  Provide additional information to help you select the appropriate databases to LOCATE A CURRENT ARTICLE FROM THE POPULAR PRESS.

    • 4. Provide additional information to help you select the appropriate databases to LOCATE ARTICLES IN SCHOLARLY JOURNALS.

    • 5.  Tell you HOW TO CITE ARTICLES in your paper.
