WAPAVA Videos - User Guide

A guide to using the videos in the Washington Area Performing Arts Video Archive (WAPAVA) collection

The UM Library Catalog

Every WAPAVA video is cataloged and included in the

UMD Libraries Catalog

Visit the Libraries homepage to start exploring the WAPAVA collection.

  1. Enter your search terms in the box on the top of the UMD Libraries homepage. (TIP: be sure you're on the "Get Started" tab of the search box and that the button for "WorldCat" is selected before executing your search.)
  2. To sort the results of your search, use the limiters on the left hand side of the screen: under "Library" check the box for the Michelle Smith Performing Arts Library (click "See All" to get a full list of the available libraries), and check the box for "Video" under the "Format" list.
  3. Any resource with a call number starting with the letters WAP is part of the WAPAVA collection. Explore the item records and see what MSPAL and WAPAVA have to offer.
