  • Kirk-Othmer Encyclopedia of Chemical Technology
    Core reference for chemistry and chemical engineering, including properties, manufacturing, and uses of chemical substances.
  • PubMed
    National Library of Medicine's comprehensive medical literature database. Includes additional life science journals.
  • Reaxys
    Includes chemical structures, reactions, and physical properties, plus pharmacological and toxicological data, specific bioassay results, logPs, and more. Searchable by chemical name or structure. (Note: Reaxys is a single platform that combines the former Beilstein, Gmelin, and Patent Chemistry Database.)

    Chemical reactions, predicted property values, experimental properties, and patent records. Includes searching by chemical structure. **Create an account using your @umd.edu email address.
