Speaking of Books... Conversations with Campus Authors features book talks by faculty authors from the University of Maryland. The next event relevant to this course is on Thursday, November 15, 2018 from 4:00-5:30 p.m. in the Special Events Room (6137 McKeldin Library). The books being discussed is Toxic Ivory Towers: The Consequences of Work Stress on Underrepresented Minority Faculty - by Ruth Enid Zambrana, Ph.D., Professor in the Department of Women’s Studies, Director of the Consortium on Race, Gender and Ethnicity and Adjunct Professor of Family Medicine at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, School of Medicine.
