For article requests, if you include the ISSN (International Standard Serial Number), you may receive your request in under 24 hours.
If you have a citation but not the journal's ISSN, you can use WorldCat, Pubmed, and other citation indexes to quickly discover it.
Where multiple ISSNs exist, please only provide one in the ISSN field.
Only the Title field for Loans and the Title and Year fields for Articles are required, but we recommend using as many of the citation fields as possible.
It also helps if you enter the citation information into the correct field. Entering the citation as a single line of text will slow down the processing of your request!
Finally, we recommend that you not add extra information into the fields, such as typing the words “ISSN: …” before the number. Such extra information throws our system off, so you won’t be able to take advantage of expedited processes like RapidILL and Direct Request.
