Your Best Request

Every time you request a UMCP or USMAI book, you will be prompted to choose a pick up location.

You can choose:   

• to pick up the book at any library on the UMCP campus. We'll hold books for you at the same library, or transfer them. 
• to pick up the book at any USMAI library (unless the item is already on shelf at that location).   
• to mail the book to your UMCP on-campus department (for faculty and staff only).  

When you register with ILL Services, you will be prompted to choose a preferred pick up location from the following options:

• McKeldin Library
• Michelle Smith Performing Arts Library 
• Priddy Library at Shady Grove 
• STEM Library
• Department Delivery (for UMD faculty/staff with 20742 zip code only)

All books you request through ILL and UBorrow in the future will be delivered to that location by default.
