Your Best Request

Learn how to request items through the University Libraries in order to obtain them as quickly as possible.

Tip: Start with a Discovery Tool.

We always recommend requesting an item through one of the Libraries' discovery tools, rather than heading straight to your ILL Services Account.  Why you ask?

  • They usually direct you to the best means of getting the item (no need to remember!).  
  • They fill out the citation fields for you, saving time and reducing typos (which slow ILL staff down).
