What is EndNote?

EndNote Online is a web-based service for managing and citing references in papers and creating bibliographies. University of Maryland Faculty, Staff and Students have access to EndNote online through our institution's subscription to Web of Science. To use EndNote, users need to create an EndNote account while on a campus computer. With EndNote Online, users can also use the Web Capture Tool to add references from web pages as one browses. 

Note: to better support the University's and Libraries' commitment to open access, we encourage users to utilize open source citation management tools, such as Zotero. You can import data from EndNote to Zotero if you'd like to make the switch to open access.
