Environmental research comprises much of the literature written about the Chesapeake Bay. Reports and compiled data published by the numerous organizations dedicated to sustaining the eco-system of the Bay span a long range of topics, including pollution, water quality, oyster fishing, pesticides, and environmental sustainability.
