The Michelle Smith Performing Arts Library (PAL) a large collection of audio recordings. We keep our recordings in two locations: Paged Collections and IPAM. Both collections are accessed from the Circulation Desk. Most paged collections recordings may be checked out for one week (reserves, rock & roll and boxed sets do not circulate). IPAM recordings must be used in the library and are only available 9-5, Monday - Friday.
On WorldCatUMD, search for your recording by composer, title, genre, or instrument and then use the format limits along the left side of the screen to restrict your results to Music You can also choose specific media, too: CD, LP, "eMusic," etc.
Note that selecting "eMusic" will not retrieve all of the online audio we have available. If you can't find what you're looking for in WorldCatUMD, or if you just want to broaden your search, try searching our streaming audio databases directly. The next section of this guide, Online Audio, will explain how.
