Begin by:

1. Selecting a research question / topic
2. Identify keywords and brainstorm for synonyms and develop search strategies
3. Conduct a literature review
4. Use the Library Catalog to find books, government documents etc.
5. Use Research Port to access databases for research articles from journals
6. Continue your research by tracing the references you find in the books and journal articles you are using.
